*Why* We Need To Halt The Assault on Small Business

The Heritage Foundation’s Ed Feulner offers these important reminders about the need to stop harming small business, since they:

  • Represent some 99 percent of all employer firms.
  • Employ more than half of all private-sector employees.
  • Pay 44 percent of total U.S. private payroll.
  • Have generated 64 percent of net new jobs over the past 15 years.

Indeed, it is time to “stop squeezing small business.”
